Refund & Returns Policy

Nameless Engineering Inc.

Nameless Engineering sells DIY electronics, kits, and hardware intended for technically competent users. While we stand behind the quality of our products, we cannot accept responsibility for damage caused during installation, modification, misuse, or assembly errors.

Please read this policy carefully before purchasing.

1. Return Window

We offer a 30-day return window from the date you receive your order to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • Unused and uninstalled
  • In the same condition as received
  • In original packaging with all included components
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

Items showing signs of installation, soldering, modification, electrical damage, or misuse are not eligible for return or refund.

2. DIY Electronics & User-Caused Damage

Our products are designed for hands-on use. Once power is applied, components are installed, or modifications are made, the risk transfers to the user.

We do not accept returns or issue refunds for:

  • Damage caused by incorrect wiring, polarity reversal, overvoltage, shorts, or improper power supplies
  • Soldering damage, lifted pads, or rework attempts
  • Mechanical damage during installation or removal
  • Firmware flashing errors or third-party software misuse

This policy is not a judgment of skill or intent — it is a practical limitation of selling DIY electronics as a small engineering company.

3. Defective or Incorrect Items (Our Fault)

Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt.

If you receive:

  • A defective item
  • A damaged item (in transit)
  • The wrong item

Contact us promptly through our Contact Page with clear photos and a description of the issue. If the issue is confirmed to be on our end, we will repair, replace, or refund the item as appropriate.

4. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable:

  • Assembled, installed, or modified electronics
  • Custom, made-to-order, or special-run items
  • Sale or clearance items
  • Gift cards

If you are unsure whether an item is returnable, contact us before purchasing.

5. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.

If your return is accepted, the fastest way to get a replacement is to:

  1. Complete the return process
  2. Place a new order separately

6. European Union – 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

For orders shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of delivery, without providing a reason.

Returned items must still meet all eligibility requirements:

  • Unused
  • Uninstalled
  • Unmodified
  • In original packaging

This right does not apply to items that have been assembled, powered, or modified.

7. Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect an approved return:

  • You will be notified of approval or denial
  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days

Banks and payment processors may take additional time to post the refund.

If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, contact us through our Contact Page.

8. Return Authorization Required

Returns must be authorized before being sent back.

Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.
