About product

This filament is highly abrasive, we strongly recommend printing with Tungsten Carbide Nozzle.

Ambrosia Filament's line of Polycarbonate Carbon Fiber blend of filament is designed to be printable without sacrifice. Manufactured to a tighter than standard tolerance (+/- 0.03mm) you'll experience consistent extrusion throughout the spool.

Polycarbonate filament requires a heated bed, chamber and printing at higher temperatures than other common filaments.

Feed your Printer the Filament of the Gods.

PCCF (polycarbonate + carbon fiber) combines advantages of PC filament with easier printing. This filament includes a blend of approximately 10% PETG to promote a better printing experience without sacrificing the properties of PC or CF. The filament both provides better heat resistance, strength and toughness than ABS or other common filaments with printability only being marginally tougher.

The glue holding the filament spool together is rated for an environment of 70C (158F). If using a filament dryer or require the filament spool by placed in an environment exceeding this temperature, we recommend printing a spool clip (Here).

Filament can absorb moisture easily. To prevent moisture absorption and contamination, the packing of filament should be kept sealed and in an airtight container with desiccant.

Disclaimer: Filaments, including this product, may emit toxic fumes (Volatile Organic Compounds) into the air when heated. Please consider this and follow safety protocols when printing with Ambrosia Filament.
CARBON FIBER FILAMENTS HAVE INCREASED RISK OF USE AND SHOULD NOT BE SANDED OR USED WITHOUT PROPER EQUIPMENT. HANDLE WITH CARE, USING APPROPRIATE TOOLS AND PROTECTIVE WEAR (E.G. GLOVES) WHEN HANDLING. ONLY USE IN A WELL VENTILATED AREA, WITH PROPER RESPIRATION EQUIPMENT.
