High precision direct drive extruder designed by Dr. Lorincz Rober in cooperation with LDO Motors. The LDO Orbiter V2.5 uses a new spider shaft with a knurled surface, which results in much greater eccentricity (20-30 µm vs 50-140 µm), resulting in consistently better performance. 

In addition, the new wide cut gears bring a new innovative design with a flat bottom cut, eliminates extrusion rate changes based on your filament position by providing a uniform drive gear diameter in all cases. Lastly, these gears now use RNC nano-coated gears with increased hardness (HRC60+) over the traditional gears provided by the Orbiter V2.0.
